Christine: Vickey suggested this popular breakfast place
that she knew from visits there with Jack and Debbie.
We arrived at this location which was situated in the corner of a building located in a light industrial area. Curious what town we were in, we asked the waiter, “Where are we?”, and we enjoyed his perplexed expression. A gentleman by the name of Mike Dorris gave me his business card for home design/drafting after overhearing some talk of home design.
I had biscuits, sausage, and scrambled eggs, all piled one on top of another and covered with creamy country gravy for one mountain of a breakfast plate. We sat in our favorite location, a booth by the door, enjoying the frigid blast as many customers arrived and departed, and held the door open for way too long.

Vickey: Today is the day we are eating at The House. This is a favorite of Jack and I have eaten several breakfasts here with him, Debbie and the boys. Jack was not here this weekend so we did not get to sit at his usual table, instead we were seated right at the door. There was a cold draft every time the door opened- I think that has become a prerequisite for us.
Of course breakfast was great - but my favorite thing here is the salsa. They bring you this little bowl of warm salsa that is to die for. I just take the spoon and eat it. Yummy. I had almost the same meal as Christine except where hers was all piled on top of each other, mine was all laying its own place on the plate in a nice neat order.
This place has quite a following. For a while there were so many people standing in line waiting to be seated they were wrapped around our table. Too bad they did not keep the cold out.
